Newsflash!

Week Commencing 11th September 2023

It has been a busy week as usual in Year 2.  We finished writing our own version of the poem, First Dog on the Moon. The children enjoyed thinking creatively about the different things they would be able to sense if they were on the moon. In maths, the children explored partitioning numbers in different ways, using concrete equipment as well as written methods. In history, we learnt more about life in Ancient Egypt! Well done for all of your hard work this week Year 2.
